The population of the Republic of Estonia (Eesti vabariik) is 1,290,000. Of these 69% (903,000) are Estonian and 25% Russian. The capital of Estonia is Tallinn. Other cities include university city Tartu, industrial city Narva and Pärnu, known as Estonia’s Summer Capital.
